My third song, as promised, is from primarily an artiste who is not Jamaican. Personally, it makes me proud to encounter reggae music done by people outside of the culture who capture the essence of the music so well. Reggae Music was started by the Rastafari Community in Jamaica. Bob Marley, the King of Reggae, although deceased, is a proponent of this peculiar way of life that hails as divine His Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie I, the 225th Rebirth of Solomon from his union with Empress Makeda, the Queen of Sheba. Bob Marley cited Reggae Music as being the news, poor people's news from all over the world. Artists like Lucky Dube from South Africa, Gentleman from Germany have built their careers performing Reggae Music and it is always a joy when non-Jamaicans portray the music so well. This artist, Sexy Marlene, does it so well, singing a prayer to the Most High Jah for alleviation of the suffering of humanity. See if you can recognise the voice, but most importantly, enjoy and be inspired to do all you can under the auspices of our Imperial Matriarch of Africa, Queen Shebah III to elevate humanity from its present circumstances as we navigate the Fourth Industrial Revolution. I look forward to hearing the music of the many cultures gathered here. This is it from me on the "Culture Corner" for this week. Peace, Love and Blessings.
